The Kabooms "A Bigger Fish To Fry" Official Video Clip & New Single
The Kabooms nos presentan su nuevo trabajo "A Bigger Fish To Fry" un single en 7" editado por Kathrina-Sleazy Records y distribuido por su socio malagueño como ya es habitual dentro del fruto de colaboracion entre ambos sellos nacionales. Grabado y producido integramente desde el laboratorio de Kathrina sobre una version de otro original de la banda que ya aparecio en su LP en vinilo "Hip Shakin' Bash" pero esta vez en un registro menos habitual hasta el momento con un bailable stroller con su tema que da nombre al trabajo "A Bigger Fish To Fry" y en el que colabora Spencer Evoy (Los Torontos, MFC Chicken) al saxo y un potente jiver "Yo No Se" versioneando un original de George Tomsco recuperando una adaptacion al español que ya hicieron en el rock and roll mexicano Los Rogers. El videoclip esta dirigido y animado por el artista Rayos X que tambien suscribe el diseño de las portadas tanto de este single como su anterior trabajo con un guion de la propia banda. Ni que decir que este trabajo marca su nueva direccion hacia una madurez musical sin perder su esencia que despues de dos Lps les llevara a otros estilos con una mas elaborada produccion. The Kabooms present their new work "A Bigger Fish to Fry", a 7-inch single edited by Kathrina-Sleazy Records and distributed by Kathrina’s partner Sleazy Records as the result of collaboration between these two national labels. Produced entirely at Kathrina's laboratory as a version of another original of the band that already appeared in their vinyl LP "Hip Shakin' Bash" but this time in a less usual form so far as a danceable stroller that gives a name to the work "A Bigger Fish to Fry" where Spencer Evoy (Los Torontos, MFC Chicken) plays the saxophone. On face B there is a powerful jiver "Yo No Se", a version of an original by George Tomsco, recovering an adaptation to Spanish that already was made by Mexican rock and roll band Los Rogers. The videoclip is directed and animated by the artist Rayos X who also designed the covers for this single and of the previous band’s work, the script for the video was made by the band. It therefore goes without saying that this work marks a new direction towards a musical maturity without losing an essence after two LPs, it will take you to other styles with a more elaborated production.
